To ensure optimal process efficiency and reduce downtime, the KEK Universal Mill offers a range of interchangeable grinding media, including turbine and screen grinding components, along with pinned disc grinding media. This mill is specifically engineered to deliver exceptional performance and precise control over fine particle size, processing materials to a D50 range of 100μ to 20μ.
For minimal moisture absorption and to maintain material integrity, a closed-loop air recycle milling design is available. For heat-sensitive product, optional temperature control and full cryogenic grinding capabilities are available. This also helps grind materials that are difficult to process at ambient temperatures, by first cooling the material to a rate in which it can then be successfully ground.
