ZSK Mv¹⁴: Twin screw extruder for products with high volume requirements

The ZSK Mv¹⁴ twin screw extruder series unites an optimally balanced large free screw volume with a D_o/D_i of 1.8, with high screw speeds and a high specific torque. Products with a specific energy requirement < 0.13 kWh/kg can be produced with high throughput rates reaching highest product qualities. 

The specific torque of the ZSK Mv series twin screw extruders has been increased to 14 Nm/cm³. With this 24% increase in torque compared to the previous model, the new ZSK Mv¹⁴ extruders achieve a 24% increase in throughput when processing products with high volume and high torque requirements. At the same time, ZSK Mv¹⁴ twin screw extruders ensure improved product quality of the compounds when processing shear-sensitive products.

With its significant increase in torque, the ZSK Mv¹⁴ achieves the desired throughput ranges even at significantly lower speeds or with smaller extruder sizes. This reduces investment costs, energy costs and space requirements for compounders.
